Tom Pierce wins Woodland Jewellers ring from Cariboo Memorial Hospital Foundation raffle

The winner of the Cariboo Memorial Hospital Foundation for the 2023 ticket raffle with Woodland Jewellers Ltd was Tom Pierce.

The “winter flower” ring has a 0.15-carat centre bezel flower-cut diamond surrounded by six 1.84-carat Ceylon blue sapphires. The hand-fabricated platinum band is 0.135-carats SI1-VS F-H.

The draw took place on Saturday, Nov. 18, at 9 p.m. at the Cariboo Memorial Hospital Foundation’s annual gala, raising funds for the hospital. The raffle was also in celebration of Woodland Jewellers’ 90th anniversary.

Geoff Bourdon has been hand-making rings for the hospital foundation’s raffle for several years now, raising over $150,000 for the hospital.
