For years I postponed planting asparagus because of the commitment factor.

Editor: We constantly hear from restaurants how the economy, the HST, the increased minimum wage and the more stringent drinking and driving laws have affected their business. Fair enough and I sympathize.

Editor: I want to address the illegal bribe (and yes it is illegal according to the Referendum Act) that the BC Liberals have placed before the public.

It doesn’t seem to matter where I have gone recently, Prince George to the Chamber of Commerce AGM or Kamloops to an Interior Science Innovation Council meeting, or right here at home.

I’d like to extend a warm welcome to all of the B.C. High School Rodeo Finals competitors (families) who will be in town (starting today) for the last event in the B.C. High School Rodeo season; it’s a huge weekend in their young lives.

As summer approaches the government is taking on several exercises of public engagement across British Columbia.
