Chiefs forward Caleb Elfering was named one of the BCHL's Stars of the Week, picking up seven points (five goals, two assists) in three games last week, helping the Chiefs clinch their spot in this third round of the playoffs.
Last Tuesday, the 20-year-old had two goals in the Chiefs’ 6-2 win over the Alberni Valley Bulldogs in game three, then continued his hot streak the next night adding two more goals as the Chiefs won 6-1. Elfering and the Chiefs closed out the series on Saturday with the second-year forward picking up three points.
