Eight athletes from Elite Ninja Development in Chilliwack have just returned from Canadian Ninja League Finals in Montreal.

Coached by Brandon Duncan, Bailey Tsamantis and Shaeden Affleck, students aged 10 to 20 took part in strength runs, speed runs and the overall finals. Shaeden Affleck made the podium with a third place in the Amateur Men category, separated from second place by only a few seconds.

Athletes qualify for the Canadian Ninja League finals through three previous levels, with competitions starting each fall.

"Only the top 16 athletes from each age category qualify for national finals, so having eight qualifying athletes from END in our second year of operation is exciting," said Duncan.
