Tina Turner's greatest hits are coming to the stage in Nanaimo next week with what promises to be a "dazzling" tribute concert experience.
Tina: The Ultimate Tribute to the Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll tour will be performed at the Port Theatre on Wednesday, June 4.
The show stars Caroline Borole, who will bring Turner's "fierce stage presence to life with a jaw-dropping performance that channels the Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll in her prime," noted a press release for the show. Borole will be supported by an international band with a brass section and backup singers and dancers.
Audiences can expect a setlist that spans the 1960s to 1990s, with such hits as (Simply) The Best, What’s Love Got To Do With It, Proud Mary, Private Dancer and more.
"This is not just a concert – it’s a full-scale production that celebrates the unstoppable spirit and timeless music of one of the greatest performers in music history," noted the promoter in the release.
