The Williams Lake Minor Hockey U15 Tier 2 team crammed and ambulance Sunday, Dec. 15 to support a local food bank.
Together the team members gathered 472 pounds of food valued at $1,675 and collected close to $1,000 which all went to the Salvation Army to help them fill the food bank which is critically low, said team manager Tanis Rosa.
The players received many comments from customers on how amazing they were, Rosa noted.
"I'm once again so grateful to be a part of these boys' hockey journey."
