Jason Noble and his wife Marilyn Martin, both realtors at Crosina Realty, have had a lovely Christmas tradition since their relationship began.

Each year, they take a drive and enjoy touring the best and the brightest Christmas lights they can find in the community.

Noble wanted to share this beautiful holiday outing with his fellow realtors and to also encourage people in the community to participate by decorating their home or business.

Noble said he had been thinking about it for awhile and when they talked about it at their office, they thought other realtors in the community might want to get involved too.

After speaking with the other realtors, they all decided to create a Light up for Christmas contest together, challenging people to light up their home or business for the holidays.

People from the community can send in their address to get added to the map, and on Dec. 20 at 6 p.m., Crosina Realty, Royal Lepage, eXp Realty, and Remax, realtors are all going to be on a bus they have reserved for the occasion, driving around to judge the entries.

Each real estate office is donating their own prize, and each will choose a unique winner to award their prize.

Noble said leading up to the event, he plans to post photos of some of the entrants, to help encourage people to get out there and enjoy the displays, and he’ll likely share the map once he gets it all plotted.

“Don’t take our word for it, go look at the lights yourself too,” he said. If time permits, the bus will tour as far as Fox Mountain and 150 Mile House as well as within Williams Lake itself.

To enter, text your address to Sierra Noble at 250.267.9515 or send a message with the address to the Crosina Realty Facebook page.
