The Salvation Army food bank is in need of some donations.

Some of the shelves at the Salvation Army (SA) Food bank in Williams Lake are pretty bare.

"We need everything," said SA community ministries manager Tamara Robinson.

"We are up 13 per cent in the food bank for those seeking assistance in the month of October 2024 compared to October 2023. We expect those numbers to rise."

Items short of supply are canned tomatoes, pasta, peanut butter, canned soup, stove top stuffing, Kraft Dinner, instant noodles and canned veggies.
