Pancakes with Santa was a hit, with people lining up out the door of Western Financial Group on Dec. 10, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.

Once inside, a table of warm food was waiting, including pancakes with toppings, sausages, muffins, fresh fruit, yogurt and plenty of drinks.

Terri David from Western Financial was busy serving breakfast, with enough food to feed 100 people who RSVP’d to the event.

David said that while their capacity was small — several tables were set up around the office for people to sit and eat — the breakfast was a way for them to give back to the community and their clients.

Those who didn’t RSVP to the breakfast were still welcome to attend and get professional photos with Santa Claus with photographer Dianne Alcock, owner of Dianne Ashley Photography and Spice and Grind Coffee Trailer.

Along with photos, Santa Claus and a Christmas elf handed out Christmas presents to the first 50 children who attended.

Western Financial Group collected food and donations for the food bank.
