Update: Woodland Jewellers confirmed raffle tickets are sold out as of Nov. 17, 2023.

Raffle tickets are still available for the exquisitely made-by-hand diamond and blue sapphire ring by Woodland Jewellers Ltd. for the Cariboo Memorial Hospital Foundation.

The ticket raffle is celebrating Woodland Jewellers’ 90th anniversary, with all proceeds going to the hospital. The ticket raffle has raised $150,000 for the hospital over the years.

Tickets are $20 each and are available until they sell out. As of Nov. 16, there are around 100 tickets left.

The draw takes place this Saturday, Nov. 18, at Sacred Heart Hall and the winner will be called at 9 p.m.

Designer, goldsmith and owner of Woodland Jewellers Geoff Bourdon made the ring valued at $8,000 by hand and was inspired after finding a flower-cut diamond. Surrounding the 0.15-carat diamond are six 1.84-carat oval Ceylon blue sapphires and six 0.14-carat diamond flower petals set on a hand-fabricated platinum ring.

Tickets can be purchased at Woodland Jewellers at 150 Oliver Street now through Saturday.

Woodland Jewellers thanks all those who have supported the fundraiser.
