Grades 7,8 and 9 band students of Lake City Secondary School’s Columneetza campus treated family and friends to a Christmas concert night Thursday evening at the school.
The students, who filled much of the gymnasium floor, are taught by Dena Baumann and Laura Eilers who said they were very proud of the students’ accomplishments. Family and friends of the students filled the bleachers to capacity to watch the performances.
Awards were also handed out for achievement in band in each grade.
This week it’s the high school band students’ turn to host a Christmas concert.
The concert will take place at the Williams Lake campus and get underway at 7 p.m. Thursday evening.
