Songs for the Christmas season in Williams Lake

Singers of all ages share their talents

St. Andrew's United Concert was filled to the rafters with music for the season during the Tuba Christmas concert held Tuesday, Dec. 3.

Every year local singers and musicians share their talents with all proceeds from the concert going toward the Salvation Army food bank.

Admission is by donation of non-perishable food items or cash.

Performing this year were Music & Motion, a new children's choir directed by Jessie Chapin and accompanied by piano teacher Becky Thomas.

Chapin also directs Quintet Plus, the second group that performed a variety of songs.

At points during the evening the audience was invited to sing along.

Completed within an hour, the concert ended with everyone back up on the stage together to perform and sing  We Wish You a Merry Christmas.
