This week is the official start of the Legion’s Remembrance Poppy Campaign. Poppy boxes will be distributed beginning Oct. 27.

There is still availability to sponsor a wreath. Please contact the Legion at 250-392-7311 and they will give you the contact information. You can also email 139poppy@gmail.com.

Everyone is welcome to attend the Legion ceremonies at 10 a.m. at the Cariboo Memorial Recreation Centre at 11 a.m. for the wreath laying and two minutes of silence at the City Hall cenotaph.

There will be lunch provided by Save-On-Foods.
