The Winter Lights Parade was responsible for some cheer early Saturday evening, Dec. 7, in Williams Lake. 

It had started to drizzle rain at the beginning, but then it stopped by the time the parade reached the intersection of Oliver Street and Second Avenue. 

Anyone hoping to catch sight of the man in red and white was not disappointed because the Cariboo GM float with a gingerbread house on a flatbed was transporting Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus.
