Boitanio Park was packed with fun, free activities for the entire family Sunday when the annual Children’s Festival took centre stage.
The event, which is slated to wrap up this afternoon at 3 p.m., featured live music, a magic show by local magician Clinton W. Grey, plenty of door and raffle prizes, food truck vendors, activities from arts and crafts to storytelling and puppetry, visits from the Wildwood Volunteer Fire Department, and more.
The Children’s Festival is put on by the Williams Lake Early Years Centre and the Women’s Contact Society with support from Children First, Success by 6, the Central Cariboo Arts and Culture Society, Williams Lake Child Care Resource and Referral, the Cariboo Regional District and the City of Williams Lake.
