PHOTOS: Chilcotin Road Elementary tracks Santa across globe

A live news broadcast of Santa's trip delivering Christmas gifts by Chilcotin Road Elementary School students and staff

Chilcotin Road Elementary School students, teachers and staff did an amazing job of tracking Santa around the globe for their Christmas concert Dec. 17.

With two opportunities for parents, family and friends to catch the action, this year's Christmas concert included a live broadcast of Santa's adventures across the world.

With the Six White Boomers in Australia pulling Santa's sleigh to wishes of Feliz Navidad and lots of love from Mexico, the students featured some global holiday spirit.

They celebrated a cowboy Christmas in Texas, and there were some classic Christmas origin stories, featuring the German Christmas tree tradition, a Silent Night in Austria, Christmas stockings from Turkey, and the Twelve Days of Christmas from jolly old England.

Once Santa hit Canadian shores, he experienced Newfoundland's appreciation for the simpler things, then he got a little more mainstream Canadian with flannel and toques dashing through the snow.

In the end, the good cheer and good times were enjoyed by all thanks to the truly talented news team at Chilcotin Road keeping us up to date on Santa's big day.
