You could smell the ham cooking from the parking lot of Sacred Heart Catholic Hall when Hub International served up a Christmas dinner for seniors on Saturday, Dec. 7.

Under the leadership of Alison Sutherland-Mann, the menu included ham, potatoes, coleslaw, veggies, buns and a very large cake.

"We're serving around 220 people including the volunteers," she said.

Dressed in uniforms, members of the RCMP, B.C. Emergency Health Services, B.C. Sheriff Service and a South Cariboo Ranger served the seniors, alongside other volunteers.
