Museum of the Cariboo Chilcotin throwing city a birthday party

Museum will host the city’s 95th birthday, with cake, coffee and tea on March 15

The city of Williams Lake is turning 95, and the Museum of the Cariboo Chilcotin is throwing a party.

Mayor Surinderpal Rathor will be cutting the cake, as per tradition, and he can’t wait.

Friday, March 15 at noon, the museum will be throwing a birthday tea party at 1660B Broadway Avenue in the Tourism Discovery Centre.

The event will open to guests at noon, a welcome will begin at 12:15 p.m. and the cake will be cut at 12:30 p.m.

The event is open and free to the public.

Tea, coffee and cake will be served.
