Friday, April 11

13th Annual Chilcotin Road Vendor's Market.

Chilcotin Road School 509 Lyne Road from 4 to 8 p.m.  50 local vendors and great prizes. 

BBBS Bowl for Kids Sake 

April 11 to 12, with all proceeds going to Big Brothers Big Sisters Williams Lake. This year's theme is disco night. 

Saturday, April 12 

Cariboo Bethel Youth Group Car Wash

By donation.

10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Cariboo Bethel Church, 833 Western Avenue. 

A Come-UNITY event

Storytelling, drum making and truth telling, song and stories, rebuilding the village along the pathways to reconciliation. Doors open at 9 a.m.

Screech Owls

Limelight Theatre on Oliver Street with live music and a silent auction. All proceeds going to the 2025 Women's Bikefest. 

Doors open at 7:30 p.m. show starts at 8:30. Tickets at Fox Mountain Brewing and The Open Book. 

A Night in the Tropics

Williams Lake Daybreak Rotary Club fundraiser with a live and silent auction, and 50/50 for the Rotary Starfish Pack Program.

Chances Signal Point. Doors open at 6 p.m. Tickets available at Sandtronic. 

TechYes Productions Presents: Antimatter - A night of house and tech

The DJ event will take place at the Central Cariboo Arts Centre beginning at 8 p.m. Tickets available through Eventbrite. 

Sunday, April 13 

Williams Lake First Nation Easter Carnival, 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Thompson Rivers University Williams Lake gym. Admission is free. Carnival games, cake walk, BBQ by donation (free for WLFN members), mini golf, colouring contest and appearance by a special guest. 

Vaisakhi food for everyone, samosas and pakoras, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Andrés Electron Experts, 1148 Broadway Ave. South. The food is free and being shared to mark the beginning of the Punjabi New Year's harvest celebration of Vaisakhi (or Baisakhi). 

April 15

Registrations received for the Horsefly 10 km Fun Run prior to April 15 will include a T-shirt. Entry forms can be picked up and dropped off at Clarkes General Store in Horsefly and REMAX in Williams Lake or by email from lprolph@xplornet.ca or 250-620-3512. The run will be Saturday, May 10 and will start at 11 a.m. from the Moffat Falls and continue down the 108 Mile Road to the Horsefly Rink. 

April 16 and 17 

88th Williams Lake Bull Sale and Show. 

The show will get underway Wednesday, April 16 at 1 p.m. The sale will get underway Thursday, April 17, at 1 p.m. The event will feature Hereford, Angus and Gelbvieh bulls from Abbotsford, Creston, Hope, Little Fort, Kamloops and Pritchard. 

April 18, 19 and 20 

The 3rd annual Indoor Spring Classic Rodeo in Williams Lake is set to take place April 18, 19 and 20. The three-day rodeo will see a rodeo on Friday evening at 7 p.m. and again on Saturday and Sunday starting at 1 p.m. each day.

There will also be a barn dance Saturday night beginning at 8 p.m. for 19-plus only featuring LNDN (Lynden Grosso), an up-and-coming DJ hailing from our hometown of Williams Lake.

On Sunday the rodeo will host an Eggstravaganza Easter Roundup from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. 

April 20

Easter Festival 

The Easter Festival will be from noon to 3 p.m. in downtown Williams Lake. Interested vendors can contact organizers through The Realm of Toys and Nerd Room Facebook page. 

April 27

Bright Futures 5 km Walk/Run/Bike from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. starting at the Cariboo Memorial Recreation Complex. Registration is $25 per person or $40 per family, with proceeds going to the Children's Hospital Foundation.
