It may not be a white Christmas this year, but it certainly will be colourful, thanks to the Light up for Christmas contest.
Realtors from Crosina Realty, Royal LePage, eXp Realty and Remax gathered together on Dec. 20, touring across Fox Mountain, Wildwood, 150 Mile House and Williams Lake to see the Christmas lights and decorations of the 33 homes and businesses that entered the contest.
Four winners were announced: 109 Country Club Boulevard, 455 Pheasant Drive, 906 Begbie Crescent and 3286 Eagle Way.
This is the first year this contest has taken place. Married couple Jason Noble and Marilyn Martin from Crosina Realty have been touring Christmas lights in the community since their relationship began. They thought it would be a great event to share with others. Royal LePage, eXp Realty and Remax joined Crosina Realty, creating the Light up For Christmas contest.
On Dec. 20, at 6 p.m., the realtors hopped on a bus and toured through the communities for three and a half hours, said Noble, noting they’re already looking forward to the contest next year.
“The realtors of Williams Lake would like to thank the community for the light show!”
The four winners each received prizes from the realty groups.
