A group of singles, cameras and the iconic Nicole (Snooki) Polizzi, have been spotted around Kelowna as filming for the Canadian version of Jersey Shore gets underway.
The new reality television show, being referred to by the working title Canada Shore will join Aussie Shore, Jersey Shore Family Vacation in Paramount's Jersey Shore franchise.
Employees of downtown Kelly O-Bryan's confirmed that they saw Snooki and a film crew near the Sails statue on July 7. Unfortunately, the film crew told them that Snooki was too busy to pose for photos with her fans.
Paramount announced on April 8, that nationwide casting was underway for 10 "unapologetically wild" Canadian singles aged 19-26. Little is known about the show, other than that filming is set to take place this summer and it will be produced by Insight Productions.
Snookie was spotted at the Kelowna International Airport earlier in the week and confirmed on social media that she had flown into Canada. Social media, specifically the online forum Reddit in the subreddit r/kelowna, has been ablaze with photos and claims of alleged Snooki sightings around Kelowna.
She is also alleged to have been at BNA filming near the restaurant's bowling alley.
