The Williams Lake Blue Fins had 25 swimmers compete at the long-course swim meet this weekend, April 25-27, for the Dental Moose Meet in Prince George.
Three swimmers made it to the Eliminator Event, with Annica Stalker placing second overall, Gavin Reedman with seventh overall and Hunter Stokes eighth overall. Six Blue Fins won medals including Keelan McCoubrey who placed first among girls aged ten and under in the 200 metres freestyle swim, Lilly Reedman placing third in 11 and 12 girls aggregate, Riel Dean placing second in 11 and 12 boys aggregate, Annica Stalker placing first in 13 and 14 girls aggregate, Gavin Reedman placing first in 13 and 14 boys aggregate and Jordyn Stokes placing second in girls 15 and over aggregate.
The team also hit 20 new divisional qualifying times, and seven swimmers achieved 100 per cent of their personal best times.
