The sixth annual Swing Into Golf Tournament will tee off June 3 at the Williams Lake Golf and Tennis Club.
The fundraising event for the Williams Lake & District Chamber of Commerce is aimed at creating a fun networking opportunity for the business community, while raising money for the chamber, said Jason Ryll, executive director.
“We wanted to try to keep the ball rolling with our golf tournament,” joked Ryll.
Tee off is at 10 a.m. and registration can take place right up until the game’s shotgun start.
Registration can be done through the chamber office in advance by asking for Karena or after 9 a.m. on the day of the tournament at the golf club.
Participants can sign up as a team of four or be placed on a team if they don’t have one.
Registration costs $100 per person and you don’t have to be a member of the chamber or a good golfer to join, said Ryll, as it is all in good fun.
Prizes will be awarded for best overall score, most enthusiastic team and a hole-in-one.
