Cariboo Archers draw a crowd to local 3D fun shoot

A fun shoot in Williams Lake saw some Cariboo Archers shine

The Cariboo Archers were able to host a successful 3D fun shoot over the weekend of May 10, 11, attracting 62 archers to their event.

Held at the Williams Lake Sportmen's Association, the event was competing with at least six other 3D shoots across the province, but still managed to draw quite a few archers to the area.

There were some great results from local archers, including a non-scoring but impressive shot nonetheless by Memphis Lachapelle. Thinking he could shoot around a small branch in front of one of the targets, Memphis managed to split the branch with his arrow.

"Memphis is another 260+ student who is showing great promise," said Al Campsall, coach of a program supporting archers with scores of over 260.
