Olympic tickets raffle on Jan. 28

Four of the hottest tickets in town will be raffled off to a lucky recipient on Jan. 28 at the Olympic Torch Relay Celebration.

The winner whose name is announced at the torch relay celebration will win a trip for two to Vancouver to take in an Olympic Victory Celebration and a men’s semi-final hockey game.

Four of the hottest tickets in town will be raffled off to a lucky recipient on Jan. 28 at the Olympic Torch Relay Celebration.

The Williams Lake Timberwolves are raffling off a trip for two to Vancouver on Feb. 19 to take in an Olympic Victory Ceremony for women’s snowboarding, along with a Theory of a Deadman concert, at GM Place.

Then, following the concert and victory ceremony, the lucky winner will be treated to a men’s semi-final hockey game at the University of British Columbia’s Thunderbird Stadium.

Tickets for the draw are $5 and are available at T-wolves hockey games, Walmart, Margetts Meats and the T-wolves office.

The winners will be announced during the Olympic Torch Relay Celebration.

And Kicking off the Olympic Torch Relay week in style, the Williams Lake Timberwolves will be hosting a family barbecue, bonfire and Olympic Jump Start Party at the Walmart parking lot on Saturday, Jan. 23 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Burgers, snacks and hot chocolate will be available.

The event is being sponsored by Walmart, Canwest Propane, Cariboo GM, Pacific Coastal Airlines and Pioneer Family Land Partnership.
