This past Thursday and Friday, I had a chance to make an important and significant announcement in Kamloops, Prince George and right here in Williams Lake, in my role as the parliamentary secretary for regional economic development.

Editor: Personally, I am sick and tired of the head games that the Liberals are playing on the public’s minds.

Editor: The column Spring brings beautiful flowers … and cattle dung, written by Dean Fulton, helped me to realize that, unlike many other lakes in this area, Williams Lake provides very little recreation opportunities.

Last week I wrote about a psychologist who recommended deliberately putting oneself into embarrassing situations to help overcome one’s fear of humiliation.

Editor: I am writing regarding the issue of the waiver at the recreation complex.

I attended the town hall on the status of Quesnel’s multi-centre project this week and listened to MP Dick Harris make a comment that got my Scottish dander up.

Budget time at City Hall and it would appear the knives have been drawn on one lone dissenter to this year’s budget.

The city streets are extra-populated with folks in cowboy hats as we welcome visitors to the 74th annual Williams Lake Bull Show and Sale and the 21st annual Williams Lake Indoor Rodeo.
