It’s still raining in the Cariboo.

Editor: To the surprise of few travellers of Highway 20, especially travellers on the section of Highway 20 known as “the Hill,” the road has again suffered a closure.

By happenstance I put on a Bruce Cockburn CD last night while I was thinking about how to capture my thoughts on the recent U.S. debate over their debt ceiling and a report issued by the Conference Board on income inequality in Canada.

Here in British Columbia we are celebrating a rare event, a 100th birthday.

Editor: Everyone is entitled to their opinion about the HST and most people have one. I support the HST and will vote no to extinguishing it.

Editor: Well, here you are, voters, free to decide your own tax fate and undoubtedly the majority will think voting the HST out will be a good idea.
