A workplace accident drew police officers, firefighters and paramedics to Oak Bay last week.
Just before noon on June 18, first responders attended to a man at worksite near Foul Bay Road and Oak Bay Avenue, who had received a “significant injury” to his foot during road construction. He was later transported to hospital.
Oak Bay police has turned the investigation over to Worksafe B.C.
This was one of 77 calls for service the police department responded to between June 16 and 22.
