Williams Lake RCMP have arrested Anthony Raven Paradis who was reported as wanted following a home invasion in Esler, just west of Williams Lake, in the night of Feb. 12.
Police said Paradis was taken into custody on Feb. 21, 2025.
In a Feb. 14 release asking the public's assistance in locating Paradis, police said a resident of the home was attacked with an edged weapon and seriously injured during the home invasion which was believed to be a targeted attack. Several items were stolen including cash.
One suspect was previously arrested following a search warrant at a residence on Second Avenue in Williams Lake during which the police recovered the weapon used in the offence.
Police said Paradis has been charged with several offences including break and enter and commit an indictable offence, aggravated assault, robbery as well as other offences.
