Williams Lake RCMP are seeking information about vandalism to the front entrance doors of the courthouse.
Police said on Saturday, Oct. 5, 2024, they received a report of mischief to property.
"The front entrance doors to the courthouse had been smashed sometime overnight," said Cpl. Madonna Saunderson, district advisory NCO media relations in a news release, noting the exterior set of glass entrance doors had been shattered and a two-foot-long piece of pipe was found at the scene.
An inner set of entrance doors were still locked and secured and no entry into the building was made.
"The CCTV footage was reviewed and shows a suspect fleeing the scene on foot," Saunderson said.
