Minor flooding has been observed on some low-lying properties in the Wildwood area north of Williams Lake, confirmed Cariboo Regional District manager of communications Gerald Pinchbeck, noting the flooding is not wide-spread.

"Sand and sandbags are available at the Wildwood Fire Department for residents to use," Pinchbeck said in an email Wednesday, April 2. "Homeowners and tenants are responsible for protecting their house and other structures from flooding, and can use the free sand and sandbags from the fire hall to help their efforts."
