Body discovered in Lake Country not suspicious say RCMP

The RCMP responded to reports of a dead body in the 3200 block of Beaver Lake Road in Lake Country on Tuesday, June 24.

Neighbours in the Beaver Lake Road area of Lake Country took to social media on Tuesday to report a police presence in their community.

Around 3:40 p.m., on June 24, the RCMP responded to a call regarding the discovery of a body in the 3200 block of Beaver Lake Road, near Jensen Road. 

Multiple officers attended the scene.  The man's death is not suspicious, according to RCMP communications advisor Ryan Watters. By 6:45 p.m., the scene had been cleared.

Out of respect to the man's family, the RCMP will not be releasing any more information.
