Three women shared big smiles with each other and the public Friday, May 31 in Williams Lake.
Cindy Peanutbutter, who opened the Bean Counter Bistro and Coffee Bar in Williams Lake 14 years ago, announced that morning the restaurant has been sold to twin sisters Sara and Senna Trampleasure.
The 22-year-old sisters were born and raised in Williams Lake and said they have enjoyed working with and for Peanutbutter and are excited about keeping the business going.
“We love Cindy so much and are so happy to continue everything she has built here,” Senna said. “We are just beyond excited.”
Sara has worked there two years and Senna for three years.
Peanutbutter’s last day was that day and she said as she lives at Tyee Lake she is looking forward to relaxing at home with a coffee and enjoying the view from her deck more often.
She said she stayed on the 14 years because she loved the staff, the customers and Williams Lake.
“I’m very thankful the reins are being handed on the to the Trampleasure family. I’m so excited it’s them.”
Growing up Sara and Senna were involved with the Cariboo Youth Fiddle Society, which their mom helped form. They also played minor hockey and participated in quite a few community events.
They have an older sister Sage and their parents Deb and Bob both work in Williams Lake.
