The Chilliwack Chiefs are one win away from the Fred Page Cup after a win in Victoria on Wednesday (May 7).

The Chilliwack Chiefs walked into the provincial capital, won both games over the Victoria Grizzlies and are now just one win away from advancing to the Fred Page Cup.

The Chiefs got a spectacular performance from goalie Quentin Miller, who stopped all 28 saves he faced to lead Chilliwack to a 1-0 win over the Grizzlies in game four on Wednesday (May 7).

It was the second shutout in the postseason for Miller and he has an 11-5 record, a sparkling .942 save percentage and a goals against average of 1.77 during the playoffs.

Brady Milburn scored the game's lone goal at 15:00 of the second period, with Ty Campbell and Jayden Veney drawing the assists. Milburn, a Kamloops product and a Denver University commit, sits tied for second in BCHL playoff scoring with 18 points in 15 games.

Victoria out shot Chilliwack 28-26 in the game and the penalty kill for both teams was perfect.

Game three on Tuesday (May 6) saw the Chiefs fall behind 1-0 after one, but then score three in the second and added another in the third to earn a 4-2 win.

Chilliwack had balanced scoring with four different players lighting the lamp. Connor Dick, Carter Anderson, Dustin Renas and Caleb Elfering all potted goals in the win. Elfering leads the Chiefs with 10 goals and sits tied for second in the BCHL in that category.

Victoria's power play was red-hot on Tuesday, as they finished 2/4 on the night. Miller was again solid in goal for the Chiefs and stopped 28 of 30 shots. The game featured a significant number of penalties, with Chilliwack being assessed 21 minutes and Victoria charged with 15. Chilliwack's Caleb Malhotra dropped the gloves with Victoria's Jacksenn Hungle and that marks Malhotra's second-ever fight in the BCHL.

The Chiefs can qualify for the Fred Page Cup with a win in game five, which occurs at the Chilliwack Coliseum on Friday (May 9). Puck drop is set for 7 p.m.

Former Chilliwack Chiefs captain Jordan Kawaguchi will be a special guest on Friday to drop the puck. Kawaguchi recently wrapped up a successful season with the Belfast Giants of the U.K.-based Elite Ice Hockey League that saw him record 37 points in 50 games. He will be handing out signed cards during the first intermission.

Chilliwack's Trevor McDonald is scheduled to sing the national anthem and he is also performing on the Bozzini's Chilliwack stage during the first intermission.

If Victoria wins, the series shifts back to Vancouver Island for game six on Sunday (May 11). Game seven, if necessary, goes Tuesday (May 13) in Chilliwack.
