The 100 Mile House RCMP are asking for the public's assistance in locating a water truck stolen from Exeter Station Road.
Sgt. Brian Lamb said RCMP received a report of a dump truck that had been abandoned on a property in 5000 block of Lower Houseman Road on Sunday, Oct. 13. Upon investigation Lamb said officers determined that the truck had been stolen from an industrial property along Exeter Station Road.
"100 Mile House RCMP received a follow-up report yesterday that a secondary vehicle was also taken from the same area on Exeter Station Road," Lamb said. "The vehicle is a 1988 International semi-tractor with a large water tank attached."
Based on photos provided by the police the cab of the truck is a mustard yellow with a bare metal tank. Lamb said the vehicle had no license plates attached to it at the time of the theft and it is possible it was driven west of Exeter Station Road. RCMP believe the vehicle is being either hidden or has been abandoned in a rural area.
Anyone who has seen the vehicle or has information about its location is asked to call the RCMP at 250-395-2456.
