The Williams Lake Film Club is showing the film Gasland as part of its awareness series this Saturday starting at 2 p.m. in the Gibraltar Room.

The lakecity’s rockin’ blues band Soupbone is planning a release party for their first CD Lead on Me for Saturday, March 12 in the Mercury Ball Room at Beeotcheese Bistro and Bakery.

This weekend is the last chance for children and adults to see the Studio Theatre’s musical Just So. The play finishes its three week run with performances tonight, a matinee Saturday afternoon and a Saturday evening performance.

Soupbone just put out their first album, Lead Me On, and it’s smashingly good.
