Students and teachers cozied up to a computer-generated fire place Friday morning at Lake City Secondary School Williams Lake campus to hear students from Brent Morton’s guitar class perform.
Morton creates a guitar sanctuary each year for the students to hone their artistry and for the 2017 year-end show he and the students made it into a campfire atmosphere.
“The thoughts of these players shall be made through my will,” said Morton who played the role of the “humble” narrator.
Students in the performance are Vittoria Durfeld, Carmen Davis, James Bing, Morgan Blois, Emily Bechard, Spencer Holland, Kassandra Harrison, Ben Lamb-Yorski, Penny Tsai, Tia Fooks, Cameron Lepard, Damon Hawkins and Roniya Sacchetti.
