With a few weeks of rehearsals behind them, the cast of Williams Lake Studio Theatre’s next production, Sweeney Todd, is short one actor. The studio is now calling auditions to re-cast the character of Anthony.

The ideal actor will be in their late 20s or early 30s with the ability to sing in a tenor vocal range, says the play’s director Troë Weston. She says Anthony, the character to be cast, is a “lovable, light-hearted, romantic sailor” who wants to run away with the love of his life.

Weekly rehearsals will require the actor be willing to commit some evenings and weekends to practice. The musical will run for several days at the end of November and early December.

To inquire about auditions, contact Troë Weston by email at troeweston@gmail.com, or by phone 778-318-8763.
