Tension is mounting as local schools organize the book collection for the Bright Red Bookshelf April children’s book drive.

Last Thursday, the joint Columneetza and Williams Lake Secondary School Gay Straight Alliance clubs came together to host a Day of Silence and the Get Loud concert.

The community is invited to help paint a mural and plant a tree this Friday to celebrate an Extra Good Friday, Earth Day in the lakecity.
