"We've got the best food in town," said Barb Sharf, market manager of the Williams Lake Farmers' Market.
It was the perfect night out on Tuesday, June 10 at the Williams Lake Farmers' Market, though the first Tuesday night market of the season wasn't as busy as the neighbouring splash park in the heat.
But Sharf said business had been picking up as the market went on, and consumables appeared popular.
She said stopping in at the market is a good option for those not feeling like cooking in the warm weather.
Either stopping in on the way home or wandering down to enjoy some food and music both provided a great early evening diversion.
There was a lineup at the ice cream trailer and a few tables of folks eating while enjoying the great live music on June 10.
The Kiwanis Park Splash Park and the pickleball courts were both bustling, making for a relatively lively evening in the city centre.
Tuesday night farmers' markets in Williams Lake are aimed at giving more market patrons an option for accessing the market, and operates Tuesdays from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. from June 10 to Sept. 23 in 2025.
