It really does pay to walk, at least for Ken Cuffe, who was the grand prize winner of the Williams Lake Art Walk.
This was Cuffe's second art walk and he won $500 credit with the art walk artist of his choice for his efforts.
He and his partner, Heather, first completed the art walk in 2023 after moving to the Cariboo.
He said he was thrilled at the number of businesses the couple discovered their first year, and they have now become regular patrons at some of them.
Cuffe chose to use his winnings with art walk artists Callenmore Creations, new to the event, who displayed their work at long-time art walk location Williams Lake & District Credit Union.
