The annual Summer Kick-off started out damp but the sun won over and made it a great experience for all on June 20, 2025 at Bob Dailey Stadium in Port Alberni.
The Gyro Club gave out hotdogs to the hungry crowd. Other local groups like the Sproat Lake Marine Patrol had a game for the kids, the Port Bombers Jr. A hockey team were on board to help the youngsters with their shooting of a puck at the goal.
The SPCA had a wheel to spin so that you could win a toy for your pet, there was walk the plank from Pacific Rim Children and Families and so much more.
