St. Andrew's United Church travelogue: From Tokyo to "Japow"

Kimberly Kozuki who grew up in Williams Lake will share about her recent trip with her sons to Japan

St. Andrew's United Church upcoming travelogue will feature Kimberly Kozuki sharing about her recent trip to Japan.

In her presentation, titled From Tokyo to "Japow," Kozuki will talk about cramming culture and fun into 12 days of travel.

"This trip is actually my middle son’s grad gift from four years ago," Kozuki said. "He wanted to use it on a meaningful trip to use his flight on and he chose to use it on a ski trip with his older brother and me."

They had heard rumours about the powder on Hokkaido and they had to go check it out for themselves, she added.

"It took four travel days literally on planes, trains and automobiles, to get to Niseko, Japan, and back with a couple days off in Tokyo but we pulled it off and we’re back on Canadian soil in 12 days."

The travelogue takes place Wednesday, March 26, 2025.

Desserts are available at 6:30 p.m. and the presentation begins at 7 p.m.

St. Andrew's is located at 1000 Huckvale Place off Midnight Avenue.

Admission is by donation.
