PHOTOS: Winter Lights Parade warms up the night in Williams Lake

Santa and Mrs. Claus rode in a sleigh pulled by a tractor

With a dusting from the first snowfall of the season, downtown Williams Lake was the perfect setting for the Winter Lights Parade.

While the parade was not very long, it had all the elements for the Christmas theme, such as fire trucks and even a decorated school bus.

Hundreds of people lined both sides of the street to watch as the parade made its way down Oliver Street.

In true Cariboo fashion, Santa and Mrs. Claus were in their sleigh being pulled by a tractor.

After the parade, festivities carried on inside at the Limelight Theatre where there was cookie decorating, a chance to write a letter to Santa, ornament making and singing.
