PHOTOS: Williams Lake Children's Festival fills park with family fun

Another amazing Children's Festival in Boitanio Park on May 25

Every year for many decades, on the last Sunday in May, the Williams Lake Children's Festival fills Boitanio Park with free and fun activities for families.

This year was no different, with bouncy castles, magic shows, children's yoga, all kinds of interactive booths and food vendors to feed the crowd.

It was engaging, entertaining and even educational, with information on programs, interactive games from FireSmart educators, a Cariboo Chilcotin Partners for Literacy story walk, free books, stickers, balloons and more for children to enjoy.

Now led by the Women's Contact Society, the event is always well-organized, with tables and tents set up and taken down and plenty of engagement from a broad cross-section of the community.

For 2025, the crowds were steady, the weather was fine, and the children were once again lining up for bouncy castle time and taking home treats and tired parents.
