PHOTOS: Williams Lake CDC, Chamber wine festival a success

Participants enjoyed great food as well as sampling various vintages

It’s a keeper.

The first annual wine festival held Saturday, May 11 at the Tourism Discovery Centre in Williams Lake was a success, said Williams Lake and District Chamber of Commerce executive director Tamara Garreau.

It was a fundraiser event in partnership between the chamber and the Cariboo Chilcotin Child Development Centre, she said.

“The event went very well,” Garreau said afterwards. “Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves and the wine selection provided by South Broadway Liquor.”

She thanked the staff of CDC and the chamber, volunteers and sponsors.

“We look forward to making this an annual event.”
