A duck named Omni and a donkey called Diego were among the animals welcoming hugs and pets during a fundraiser for the Shuswap Paws Rescue Society. The event, a by-donation petting zoo, took place in front of the Salmon Arm Pet Value at Centenoka Mall on Saturday, June 22. All proceeds from the petting zoo, including a table with pet treats for sale, went to the rescue.
