A diverse crowd filled Salmon Arm's Ross Street Plaza to celebrate different cultures at the annual Gathering Together Festival.
The popular event, hosted by the Shuswap Immigrant Services Society, was held Thursday, June 27 – Multicultural Day – and celebrated the many ethnicities that call the area home. The evening provided different groups the opportunity to showcase their cultures through music, dance, food and traditional clothing, with plenty of information available as well.
