Organizers revved up for Canadian Tire Show ‘n’ Shine Sunday

Check out the vintage cars on display and help raise money for local children’s charities

The owners of Canadian Tire are hosting another Show ‘n’ Shine Sunday. Sept. 16 outside the store. The weather may not be as sunny as it was for the 2016 event, but organizers are hoping for a good turn out to support local charities. Photo courtesy of the Lakers Car Club.

Canadian Tire will play host to a Show ‘n’ Shine today, Sunday, Sept. 16. Registration is at 10 a.m. with the car show running from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

There will be prizes, music, a 50/50 draw, plus a barbecue.

The event is being hosted by new Canadian Tire owners Brad and Nancy O’Neill who have said they are excited to be a part of the community

In 2016 the previous owner also hosted a Show ‘n’ Shine.

Proceeds from the barbecue will be donated to the local community through Canadian Tire’s Jumpstart charity — a program that helps children between the ages of 4 and 18 participate in sport and physical activity.
