Members of the Tyee Lake Community Association gathered to hold a ground breaking ceremony held recently for their new 40 by 48 foot structure which they are building to house fire equipment and a fire truck.
Cariboo Regional Director Steve Forseth was on hand for the event as was MLA Coralee Oakes, who also presented the Tyee Lake Volunteer Fire Department and Tyee Lake Community Association with plaques for volunteer service.
